Kings of Convenience
A Norwegian (yes, I'm all over the world!) folk duo who, for some reason, likes to record their albums in Mexico.
They take inspiration from Belle and Sebastian and Simon & Garfunkle. Fair enough. It's that type of folk music that is soft, with easy-to-listen-to raspy male voices. They don't look half as bad either.
Bottom line: Love them. Love that they're not American or British. Love that there's a whole folk music base all over the world. Love it.
